ABOUT ABOUT

IF Lab Presents: In the Lab

The online conversation series will feature engaging, interactive discussions moderated by Tayyib Smith and Meegan Denenberg. Our first workshop will feature distinguished journalist and author, Andre Perry.

Each session, a renowned expert in a specific field will have a presentation and conversation with 8-14 local entrepreneurs for 45 minutes to an hour on a digital platform.

Topics will range from a variety of industries specific to the curated invited audience to include: Technology, Arts + Culture, Social Impact/Policy/Advocacy, Retail, Investment, and Development.

Conversations will be recorded and relevant content will be disseminated to participants along with contact information. Content will be aggregated and posted on a resource website for open source learning.

What is IF Lab?
IF Lab, located in Kensington, provides the underserved entrepreneur with professional incubation and bridges to resources, institutions, language and people. Because of the current and forecasted economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, entrepreneurs + existing small business owners are facing unprecedented challenges.

With "In the Lab," we can use this time to our advantage to talk about what those challenges look like in Philadelphia, how failed policies have exacerbated issues for entrepreneurs and people of color, and brainstorm innovative ways to push forward.
